The Horse
When “The Horse” issue of Shadow & Light Magazine (SLM) was released a few issues ago to rave reviews, it was suggested by SLM special projects editor, Helen K. Garber, that we should do a stand-alone issue with a few new portfolios and no commercial ads.
With this issue, Helen’s request was fulfilled. There are no commercial ads and only a couple promotional offerings. One is from Helen, who was a juror for “The Horse,” highlighting her “Art as Alchemy” series and one from the other “The Horse” juror, Tony Bonanno, which features his newer release, “Horse of the Sea, the White Horses of the Camargue.”
Making into this Special Edition are: Susan Friedman, Shelley Paulson, Keron Psillas, Mary Aiu, Lynne Pomeranz, Tom Chambers, Chris Stevens-Yu (cover image), Susan Kanfer, Oliver Klink, Landry Major, and Tori Gagne also return with portfolios that were in that issue and will continue to delight us with their imagery.
